Would you like to track your score and compare from round to round?
Would you like to calculate your handicap automatically? Then you
should take a look at a program that can do all this. And what is more
amazing - you can download it and use it for free! If you like the program, you can register it through PayPal and support the developer. And when you start using this program, it becomes evident that it is well worth it.
There are actually two programs. On is called RGolf and is for PC, the
other is PocketRGolf and is as the name suggests for PDA's using the
PocketPC operating system. So you can bring your PDA, use it as an
advanced scorecard, and transfer your round to the PC when you get home.RGolf is made by a Norwegian man called Rune Selvåg. He works as a programmer and started developing RGolf because he wanted a way to automatically calculate given strokes and his score. Since then, it has developed into a full statistics package that can do statistics for several players and track rounds from year to year. As far as we know, it is the only golf program that includes English, Norwegian, Italian, French, Swedish and Danish languages. And it will soon have even more. The use of this program is growing every day. And it is the perfect tool if you want to track your improvement. It is also a good tool for any pro that want to track the performance of several players. ![]() There is no need to buy special scorecards to use during your round. You only need to choose what course you are going to play and print a scorecard that you can bring and fill in with all aspects of your game. If the course is not available in the program, you can enter the details yourself. Some people like to use Excel or similar to analyze the data. So RGolf has included export to Excel in the program. You can also export courses that you have entered and share them with others. And backing up everything is as easy as using the built-in backup function. Support is provided in two ways. Either through e-mail, or in the forumsection of Sambagolf.com. Sambagolf.com is now hosting the supportforum for RGolf, and the only thing you need to do is register at the site to be able to post in the forum. Go to www.rgolf.no and download the program so you can start using it today! {mos_sb_discuss:2} |
