The first tournament of the tour will be held at Clube do Lago Azul, near to Sorocaba, in the countryside of São The tournament is played at night without any artificial light, which means a big challenge to the players of this highly technical sport. They use illuminated or glowing balls and markers. It is a delightful experience because the players only have the moonlight and the stars when they walk through the course. It reminds us of an experience described in a classic book from the sports literature Golf in the Kingdom. Here, the great Scottish master told his disciple to play with his eyes closed. This would increase his perception through his other senses and thus raise his confidence in performing the correct swing. The organizers have already registered(trademarked) this kind of game and after choosing the sponsors, more night tournements will be arranged at other courses in the country. Anxiety makes us go to fast with the club or makes us raise our heads. Unawareness makes us look at the car that is crossing or at another golf player that is walking around instead of focusing on the hole. Haste makes us putt even before we are well located and relaxed. Carelessness keeps us from taking into consideration a small depression in the ground or a cut in the grass. The result of The Four Knights of the Apocalypse's job is clear: we miss the hole. The
golf player has to develop the ability to see the stroke in a positive
way. It means that he has to be able to imagine the ball on its way to
the hole until it falls in it. The golf player can even “listen” to the
sound of the ball falling down. If he is very imaginative he can even
hear the clapping hands of his partners and audience. After all, golf
is a game. Children are always good on games because they allow their
imagination to take them very far, where our eyes can not see. Guillermo Piernes is the first columnist to appear at Sambagolf.com . He is a

To
be able to play night golf it is necessary to have a concentration
similar to the one you have to have to make a putt - a very precise
stroke of the game. At the putting green, an area similar to the
penalty area at the football field, the emotional balance is decisive
to win or to lose the final stroke.
