shots received - 2005/07/26 11:48 Hi,

I've been entering my details into rgolf for a couple of months now, but it appears that I have to enter a value in the 'received' field before it will calculate my handicap.

Isn't this a circular reference? The shots received depends on my handicap and the shot index of the course, no?

If the required information for a course is registered, received strokes is calculated for you when registering a new round. For a course the following info must be present for the tee you have played:

- Course rating
- Slope value

If the course you play have SSS value, you should enter the SSS value instead of Course Rating, and set Slope Value to 113.

The Index for each hole must be present for the handicap calculation to work, but is not required for received strokes calculation.

Change a course by using the menu item "Register->Courses", and press the "Edit" button.
