Santa Monica Golf course is a relatively new golf course, so far with 9 holes. (9 more are under construction, and will most probably be opened in 2006.)

The golfcourse is part of a huge sports complex with tennis courts, pools, shooting range, etc.

Great and soft fairways with a challenging design, but you need a few holes to get used to the speed on the greens, which are quite slow. You will also find a pretty good training area in this club, driving range, putting range, and a complete 9 holes “micro-course”, for approach training. Each of these holes has its own teebox and a mini green, distances varies from 10 to 40 yards.

Located in Colombo, just about 30 minutes by car from downtown Curitiba (5 minutes from Alphaville Graciosa) and with a very reasonable priced greenfee, this course is a great alternative for wallets with a limited budget.
